Kingdom Living without Lack

Kingdom Living without Lack

When you have the heart and mind of Christ living in you, you lack nothing.

King Saul had all the wealth, resources, military force and power as King. He allowed his heart and mind to be filled with envy, jealousy and lack. King Saul was holding on to his possessions and position viewing David as a threat to him possibly losing his kingship. King Saul lacked having the Shepherd (Spirit of God) leading him.  He was trusting in his wealth, power and position living in the LACK of fully trusting God. King Saul was trusting in the temporal seen items of this world more than the unseen power, Agape Love and abundance of God.

Psalms 23:1

The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. – NIV
The LORD is my shepherd; I have all that I need. – NLT

The LORD is the one who is shepherding me; I lack nothing. – ISV

The Lord is my best friend and my shepherd.  I always have more than enough. – TPT

God is a God of abundance. His desire is that none of HIS children suffer lack. His desire is that we have ALL HIS INHERITANCE by trusting HIM with all of our heart, mind, soul and strength.

8 Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything — Footnote: The Greek word Paul uses is autarkeia, and it is found in classical Greek as meaning “independently wealthy, needing nothing.” every moment and in every way. He will make you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do. – 2 Corinthians 9:8 TPT

8 And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation]. – 2 Corinthians 9:8 AMPC

Jesus Agape loves a rich man and tells him “you lack one thing”. He lacks the abundance of knowing God’s Agape Love. He is trusting his wealth and lacks the true abundance found in “autarkeia”.

21 And Jesus, looking upon him, loved him, and He said to him, You lack one thing; go and sell all you have and give [the money] to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come [and] accompany Me [walking the same road that I walk]. – Mark 10:21 AMPC

People who have wealth still can live in lack and scarcity with a poverty mind set. Jesus took the curse of lack on the cross. As God’s offspring, HIS children we have been redeemed from lack.

33 “So above all, constantly chase after the realm of God’s kingdom and the righteousness that proceeds from him. Then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly. – Matthew 6:33 TPT
