Kingdom Living with the Roar of the Lion of Judah
Kingdom Living with the Roar of the Lion of Judah
When does the lion roar?
The lion (devil) prowls, stalking his prey (you), looking to kill, steal and devour. The lion roars when he has his victim in the crosshairs. The roar of the lion (devil) is so intimidating it can cause the prey (you) to freeze and not seek safety. The lion (devil) stands over the captured prey roaring in his victory.
7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
8 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. Peter 5:7-9
The voice of the devil (roaring lion) attacks you in your mind. It fills you with worry, anxiety and fear. It tries to cripple you so that you don’t even want to get up in the morning or move forward. The lion wants you to be hopeless, rejected and defeated. The lion likes to strike at night in the dark when you are not guarded, often in your sleep. The devil uses lies to try to move you into doubt, fear, worry and anxiety.
You (through the power of the Holy Spirit) can resist the roaring lion (devil) by standing firm in your faith. Resist the devil and he will flee. Remind the devil of his final destination in the lake of fire. Greater is HE (Spirit of God) who is in you than he who is in the world (devil). The roar of the Lion of Judah living in you is greater than the Lions roar. Roar in your loving kindness to others.
The roaring lion wants to silence your testimony. He does not want you to share your story of redemption and salvation. He will try to convince you that you are not good enough. You are sharing God’s story of your changed life. The story is about God’s greatness and power to forgive sin. The story is about HIS redeeming love for all mankind. When you share your wilderness story with others the devil will flee. The lion wants to keep you silent about the greatness of God, the forgiveness of sin, the restoration and fellowship with God, and the peace of God which transcends all understanding.
The roaring lion wants you to worship your circumstance, problem, fear, anxiety or worry. If the roaring lion can get your mind focused on the circumstance, this becomes your worship instead of Holy God, Creator God, Redeemer God revealed through Jesus Christ who gives you power in the Holy Spirit. When you worship and praise God through prayer and song, he will flee. Life and death is in the power of the tongue.
Live today in the power of the resurrected Christ. Roar in your testimony about Christ Jesus who conquered sin and death – something the devil cannot claim.
Then one of the elders said to me, “Stop weeping. Look! The mighty Lion of Judah’s tribe, the root of David—he has conquered! He is the worthy one who can open the scroll and its seven seals.” Revelation 5:5 TPT
Roar as the Lion of Judah, I am your son/daughter and have overcome sin, death and Satan because greater are YOU living in me by the Holy Spirit than anything in this world of fear, worry, anxiety, lack, unforgiveness, bitterness and hate.
