Kingdom Living is Telling Them
Kingdom Living is Telling Them
How will they know?
It takes someone to tell them!
But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? NLT Romans 10:14
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?
15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:
“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace,
Who bring glad tidings of good things!”
NIV Romans 10:14-15
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of Christ. How will they know without someone telling them? Many of the translations use the word “preacher.” We are all preachers, proclaimers of the Grace, Freedom, Reconciliation, Redemption and Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Many times we take this verse to mean that it is the preacher’s job to tell others. Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! We are responsible for proclaiming and telling others.
Life and death is in the power of the tongue. The Word of God does not return void. It is on the lips and tongue of the followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Word of God is in your heart. Out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. The Word of God dwells in you richly and heals the soul and mind. It is refreshing to your soul. The Word of God opens the ears of those who desire to hear.
You may be the only preacher, proclaimer or someone who speaks and tells the Truth of Jesus Christ.
You are called as the person who tells, speaks and proclaims. You are the preacher who speaks the Word of God. You are the proclaimer who tells your story of redemption. You are the person who speaks life, hope, peace, reconciliation, redemption, forgiveness and freedom into others’ lives.
They will know because you told them. The Word of God is alive and active. God spoke Creation into existence. Go speak of a peace which transcends all understanding into another’s life today. Profess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord in love, action and words. Tell them so they will know.
Go tell them that God loves them and that they have been made RIGHTEOUS.
