Kingdom Living is Hearing the Word of God
Kingdom Living is Hearing the Word of God
Do you hear with your ears or with your heart? Are you able to hear the word of God? Have you rejected the Word of God so much that you have a hard time hearing the voice of God? Do you know the voice of God when HE speaks?
Here are your choices:
You can hear or ignore, or you can accept or reject the Word of God in your life.
But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop. Luke 8:15 NIV
But as for that [seed] in the good soil, these are [the people] who, hearing the Word, hold it fast in a just (noble, virtuous) and worthy heart, and steadily bring forth fruit with patience. Luke 8:15 Amplified
What did the good seed produce?
And other seed [of the same kind] fell into good (well-adapted) soil and brought forth grain, growing up and increasing, and yielded up to thirty times as much, and sixty times as much, and even a hundred times as much as had been sown. Mark 4:8 Amplified
In this parable of the soils, Jesus is talking about your heart. When the Word of God impacts your heart it will produce 30, 60 and 100-fold returns.
The enemy of God uses a mathematical system of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. The enemy wants to limit your thinking. God’s economic system is beyond your comprehension. When the Word of God is planted in your heart, it will produce through perseverance, trial and circumstance an exponential, infinite system of 30, 60 and 100-fold returns. It is the circumstances of life which produce the fruit. Your perseverance through the hot of summer, the cold of winter and the storms of life strengthens your faith. The trials and pressures of life build your character. A diamond is coal under pressure.
Listen for God’s voice today, invite HIS WORD into your HEART and persevere under the pressures and circumstances which come your way. God is the way, the truth and the life. HIS Word was made flesh and dwells among you today in the risen Christ Jesus through the power of God’s Spirit. Walk in the knowledge of the resurrection and living God.
