Kingdom Living is Alive with God’s Word

When you read the encyclopedia, can you say it is alive and active? When you read the newspaper, can you say it penetrates the heart and soul of man? When you read a novel, can you say it exposes and uncovers truth?

God’s Word is alive. God’s Word is active. God’s Word is powerful. God’s word is effective. God’s Word uncovers the truth. God’s Word penetrates the soul and spirit. God’s Word exposes all. God’s Word judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. God’s Word is Spirit and life.

Jesus is the Word of God and became flesh and dwelt among us. God spoke creation into existence. God’s Word is alive, active, powerful and sharper than a double-edged sword. It penetrates the heart and soul of man.

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of HIM to whom we must give account. Hebrew 4:12-13

If you want to know God, read HIS Word. If you want to know God, seek HIM with all of your heart. The Word of God is a love story. It is a story of redemption and restoration of man into relationship with God.

God is interested in HIS children knowing HIM. One of the best ways to know God is to read HIS Word. HIS Word is alive and active. You do not need any human being to explain and interpret the Word of God for you. HE has given you the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit who resides in you as a guide and interpreter of HIS Word.

Here is the big lie: The enemy of God wants you to think it is too difficult to read and understand the Word of God. The enemy does not want you to know that God Loves you.

If you want to be alive and active, if you want a peace which transcends all understanding, if you want joy in the midst of a storm, then seek to know the author, creator and sustainer of life – Jesus Christ.  HE is the way, the truth and the life. God loves you.

God’s Word is alive and active; read it, memorize it, speak it, teach it, live it, love it, put it to work today. God’s Word will not return void because it is active and alive. God’s Word will be used for its purpose. God’s Word is powerful.

God’s Word is Jesus coming alive in you. God loves you.
