Kingdom Living in Victory
Kingdom Living in Victory
Army of God
You are in a war.
The enemy is Satan and he wants to kill, steal and destroy you. He wants you to live in fear, rejection, discouragement, shame, guilt, condemnation, unforgiveness and doubt. The battle is for your mind. One of the ways Satan gets victory over Christians is to get them to believe life’s purpose is of ease, comfort, recreation, pleasure and fun. Satan is a liar. He wants you to worship pleasure, fear, regret, injustice not God. He is deceitful and will do whatever is needed to gain a stronghold over you. He is not after those who are already against God. They are lost and have become a slave to the devil. He is only after those who profess Jesus as Lord. Satan has an organized army designed to take you out. He wants to silence your testimony.
Your victory is in Christ. Jesus Christ defeated Satan on the cross. You have victory over the tactics and tools of Satan.
You immediately joined the Army of God when you made Christ your Lord. You were inducted, and the papers were signed as a soldier in God’s Army. God has given you all you need to fight against the enemy. Your Commander in Chief has equipped you with the Armor of God to protect you in the battle. Your Commander in Chief has already won the battle and will fight for you against the enemy. Your job is to stand firm in the truth, righteousness, peace and salvation of God with the full Armor of God.
In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].
Put on God’s whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil.
For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.
Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place]. Ephesians 6:10-13
Stand firm in your identity as a son / daughter of the King washed clean by the blood of the Lamb. Satan is a defeated foe. As a believer with the Holy Spirit living in you. You have dominion and victory over Satan’s tools of fear, rejection, regret, injustice, shame, bitterness, condemnation, jealousy and unforgiveness.
You have God’s love, power and authority to cast out all the enemy’s schemes and tactics.
