Kingdom Living has one option.
The world the enemy of God offers a lot of options for you to choose. Everything in the world looks attractive. Fulfilling the wants and desires of your selfish nature seems to satisfy the hurt and pain of not surrendering your will to God. There is only temporary satisfaction in the sinful options of gluttony, drugs, tobacco, sex, alcohol, work, success and even religion.
The world offers many options however, God offers one option. HE is the way. HE is the truth. HE is the life. No one can come to the father (enter into HIS PRESENCE) except through Jesus Christ. God offers one option and the world offers many options. Which option will you choose: a transformed life through the confession and repentance of your sin or a sinful life through the covering over of your sin, stuff and addictions and the suppressing of the truth of God?
When you choose the many options of the world, you become a slave to the world’s system. You are seeking the ways of the world. The ways of the world seem attractive until your mind, heart, will and emotions are surrendered to the Holy Spirit living in the believer. You are an enemy of God and a friend of Satan until you are born again as a Spirit Being with the Holy Spirit living in you.
Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Romans 1:28-31
As a child of God you are forgiven. You now need to receive the pardon of forgiveness which Christ Jesus gives you. You are no longer defined by the action, sin or addiction of what you did. The action, sin or addiction is what you did; it is not who you are. Because Christ Jesus has forgiven your sin you are a brother or sister of Jesus Christ. You are a redeemed child of God through the forgiveness of sin. There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. You are freed from the shame, guilt and fear of your past actions, sin or addiction. Christ Jesus died to set you free from sin and death. He set you free from condemnation, fear, guilt, shame and regret and gave you the truth of HIMSELF.
There is only one option which leads to the peace which transcends all understanding. There is only one option which leads into God’s Presence of love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, faithfulness, perseverance and contentment.
Lord I choose to surrender my mind, will and emotions to you. I receive your Holy Spirit into my life. Thank you for washing me clean of all unrighteousness. I desire to see you face to face and enter into your Holy of Holies.
