Jesus came to bring us into the Kingdom of God
Jesus came to bring us into the Kingdom of God
All things are from God, Who through Jesus Christ reconciled us to Himself [received us into favor, brought us into harmony with Himself] and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation [that by word and deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with Him].
It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses [but cancelling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor). 2 Corinthians 5:18-19
What is the difference between forgiveness and reconciliation?
How many people does it take to have forgiveness? Only one person is needed to have forgiveness.
How many people does it take to have reconciliation? It takes two or more people forgiving each other for there to be reconciliation.
Jesus Christ is the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. Jesus Christ has been from the beginning of creation. HE is the alpha and omega. HE came as the Lamb of God who forgives sin. HE condemned all the sin of the world on the cross through HIS death. One person, Jesus Christ, has forgiven the world. It takes only one person for forgiveness. Jesus is that one person representing the forgiveness of sin. It is through Jesus Christ we are reconciled to God. We are justified and made right.
God demonstrated his love for the world while we were still sinners. Christ died for us. God has forgiven the world for our sins through HIS only son Jesus Christ. God has done HIS part. It is man’s part to be reconciled to God.
This is the Christmas story of reconciliation to God through Jesus Christ. Adam and Eve hid when they sinned in the Garden of Eden. The world is hiding from its sin nature. CHRISTmas is a time to remember and celebrate the pardon we received by being reconciled to GOD, so that we can enter into the Kingdom of God now.
Let your light so shine before the world that they see Christ in you. Let the love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control which comes through the Holy Spirit of Christ living in you bring Joy to the World as you live in the victory as a Citizen in the Kingdom of God. You are a living testimony to the reconciliation to God through Christ Jesus. Celebrate Christ in Christmas all year long. Christ is in you – the hope of Glory.
You have been reconciled to God through Christ Jesus. You are a Citizen of the Kingdom of God now with the Holy Spirit living in you.
