Where do your thoughts come from?
From faith or fear?
We’ve been trained so much in fear over generations and just everything – even the bad news just comes in -and we begin believing fear over our faith in God.
So your perception will be determined by your reception! What are you receiving in what are you thinking. How you perceive God and yourself will determine who you are. Your identity and purpose will determine your worldview. It will determine how you view others. This is so important – what you believe, you empower.
So if you’re believing a lie, you empower the lie. If you believe the truth, you empower the truth. In John 7:24 “do not cloud righteous judgment.” We’ve already been judged righteous through Jesus Christ. so don’t cloud your Righteous judgment with your biased opinions and traditions – our traditions and doctrines stop us from really having that relationship of understanding.
So most thoughts you experience are not original creative or divine – they are echoes of the cultural conditioning. We are trained by the culture, family belief systems over years, collective fear and limitations, past trauma or unmet expectations, religious beliefs based on doctrine and tradition.
These thoughts can be an old record repeating itself: “You’re not enough.” “Be careful – don’t hope too much.” It is fear-based! These thoughts are not your authentic voice! They’re background noise and they don’t originate in the spirit of God. They don’t originate in the Spirit of God.
Your mind is a receiver! You’re not obligated to believe every thought that is broadcast! So this is the question: does it come from God? Does this bring peace and love? The soul was created in love, by love, and for love. Christ didn’t say “I will be light” – He says “I am. I am. I am light.”
Don’t imitate Christ! Be Christ! Amen and Amen.
