Spiritual fraud.

And we’ve written a book called Fraud – what God has to say about the tactics of the enemy.

Well, let’s define fraud here.

Fraud. Wikipedia defines fraud as follows: “In law, fraud is the deliberate deception to secure unfair or unlawful gain or to deprive a victim of a legal right.”

Miriam Webster defines fraud as follows: “Ontentional perversion of truth in order to induce another to part with something of value or to surrender a legal right.”

So, and we’ve asked this question so many of our listeners: “What’s the biggest fraud that has ever happened?”

It happened in the garden with Adam and Eve when they bought into the lie and they trusted Satan more than they trusted God.

God said, “If you eat from that tree, you’ll surely die.”

Let’s look here and see what happens.

Spiritual fraud is living, praying, and believing from an identity that no longer legally exists – meaning our identity was established in Christ before the foundation of the world. And it’s not in Adam.

Spiritual fraud is not rebellion. It is misidentification.

It happens when a believer – a believer who has been crucified with Christ, raised with him, and seated in him – continues to operate under an old canceled identity as if the cross never included them. How about that?

It is using an expired name, appealing from a voided status, and praying from a position God has already replaced.

Let’s just look at some of the things in comparing spiritual fraud versus kingdom authority.

Operating from Adam versus operating in Christ.

Under Adam, our identity is I’m a sinner saved by grace. My identity is not as a sinner. Our identity is operating from Christ is I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

Let’s look at the self view.

Spiritual fraud is operating from man as forgiven but still broken. Under the Kingdom authority operating in Christ new creation, I am complete and in our position.

Spiritual fraud operating from Adam is earthbound looking up. Kingdom authority is we are seated with Christ in the heavenlies now.

Prayer tone in the spiritual fraud is begging, pleading, hoping – whereas in Kingdom authority, it’s declaring and forcing and thanking God.

Victory in spiritual fraud is a future hope. In kingdom authority, it’s a present enforcement.

Spiritual Fraud is our faith is feelings and circumstances. In the kingdom authority operating in Christ, it’s a finished work and location.

Self-consciousness is an ongoing self-focus versus a Christ consciousness. And what we see here is fear response. What if? What if? What if this happens?

Jesus’s response operating in Christ is “It is written.”

So, we’re speaking the scriptures to speaking the truth.

And then the devil engagement is it’s a defensive struggle. We’re always fighting the devil. And here, in the kingdom authority, it’s a positional resistance. We’re in charge. We have authority. Christ has given us authority here to rule and reign.

And healing, healing, healing, we’ve had many teachings on this. Occasional intervention is spiritual fraud. Kingdom Living says healing is a normal expression of life. It’s by faith in God provision.

Spiritual fraud has scarcity mindset. Whereas in kingdom authority it’s inheritance mindset. We inherit everything God has given us.

And our authority is the spiritual fraud is ask for it. No – under kingdom authority we exercise the authority and the power flow. It’s neutralized by double-mindedness. Our double-mindedness stops us from becoming all that God has tended us to be. Whereas in the kingdom authority, it’s activated by our identity and clarity.

And our language under spiritual fraud is “I’m trying. I’m trying. I’m trying.” And under kingdom authority operating in Christ, “I am, I have.” Boy, different way of thinking!

What a great thing is comparing and looking at Our identity is in Christ. We’re operating in Christ.

Amen and amen.
