Kingdom Living with a Pure Heart.
Kingdom Living with a Pure Heart.
Washed hands do not make your heart pure and clean. You can scrub and scrub your hands raw but that will not give you a pure heart. The stain of sin and rebellion toward God cannot be removed by soap and water. Using the best bacteria killer will only kill the germs on your hands. Man tries to clean the outside however God looks inside at the heart. What pleases God is a broken and contrite heart.
Who can ascend the hill of the Lord? Who may stand in HIS holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false. Psalm 24:3-4
Jesus asked them. “Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these make a man ‘unclean.’ For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. These are what make a man ‘unclean’; but eating with unwashed hands does not make him ‘unclean.’ ” Matthew 15: 17-20
A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cured of his leprosy. Matthew 8:2-3
The evidence of a clean heart is what comes out of your mouth. When a heart has been transformed by the washing thoroughly of Jesus’ blood, you are clean. The stain of sin has been washed away and you are whiter than snow. You are a walking testimony of God’s grace. A testimony of praise begins to come out of your mouth. Thankfulness and gratitude begin to be major themes out of your renewed heart. There is a gentleness that becomes evident to you and others.
Invite the Spirit of God into your heart to transform every part of your body. Which would rather have leprosy or sin? Jesus came to clean you from the curse of sin and death. Walk in the confidence that Jesus sacrifice has transformed your life. You are free and clean in Christ Jesus.
As you seek first the Kingdom of God and HIS righteousness your hands will become clean in your relationships and transactions. The Kingdom of God will be at the center of everything that you do. The Word of God will transform your mind and heart in Christ Jesus. Integrity and righteousness will become your crown as you faith is tested.
