Kingdom Living Through Difficulties

Kingdom living through difficulties  —  Change your thinking!

Difficulties, tests and trials are opportunities to demonstrate God’s Agape Love, wisdom and grace working through you.

2 My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can!

3 For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up power within you to endure all things.

4 And then as your endurance grows even stronger it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking.

5 And if anyone longs to be wise, ask God for wisdom and he will give it! He won’t see your lack of wisdom as an opportunity to scold you over your failures but he will overwhelm your failures with his generous grace.

6 Just make sure you ask empowered by confident faith without doubting that you will receive. For the ambivalent person believes one minute and doubts the next. Being undecided makes you become like the rough seas driven and tossed by the wind. You’re up one minute and tossed down the next.

7–8 When you are half-hearted and wavering it leaves you unstable. Can you really expect to receive anything from the Lord when you’re in that condition? – James 1:2-8 TPT

Difficulties, Trials and tests in life can make a person bitter or better. These circumstances can lead to disappointment, rejection, discouragement, dislocation, bitterness. Or, difficulties, trials and tests in life can lead to a deeper faith, a deeper trust in God, and an attitude of thankfulness, gratefulness and appreciation in which you will fully mature in fulfillment and contentment, lacking nothing. You will grow in the fullness complete in Christ Jesus.

Your disappointments cause feelings which ultimately play out into actions. These disappointments may be opportunities disguised for you to change your thinking, feelings, and actions. Pray this, “Lord change me any way you want to change me.  Give me wisdom and courage to do your will.”

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. – Romans 12:1-2

Use every situation, circumstance, problem and difficulty today as an opportunity to demonstrate the Agape Love, wisdom and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
