Kingdom Living is Never being Hungry.
Kingdom Living is Never being Hungry.
Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. John 6:2
Are you eating only physical food which does not last?
Or are you eating the Spiritual bread of Christ Jesus which lasts?
2 Remember how the LORD your God led you all the way in the desert these forty years, to humble you and to test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands.
3 He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.
- Deuteronomy 8:2-3
God tests and teaches you using the desert / wilderness – your problem, circumstance or big mountain you are facing today. HE allows and uses these to do the following:
- To humble you
- To test you to find out what is in your heart
- To see if you will trust God and follow HIS ways
It is only when you have been broken of the mammon (physical desires of the flesh) will the manna (Spiritual bread of Life) be satisfying to you. It is like the prodigal son: he was so hungry for the bread of life from his father that he repented and went home to eat with his father.
How hungry are you for the bread of life which lasts? Are you tired of eating physical food which does not last? The bread of life, which sustains you, will bear fruit. The fruit in your life will be love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, faithfulness, forgiveness, contentment and grace.
Your life is not based upon the physical world but the Spirit of God living in you by the forgiveness of sin. You have been crucified with Christ and you no longer live but Christ lives in you. HIS Spirit is living in you and feeds you with the sustaining bread of life which gives you freedom from sin and death.
