Kingdom Living is Knowing Your Sin has been forgiven
God has said and promised that HE would never again remember our sins and lawless deeds. This is the fulfillment of God’s Promise to man through Jesus Christ. We have been forever REDEEMED.
17 And I will never again remember their sins and their lawless deeds.
18 Now where there is forgiveness of these sins, there is no longer any offering for sin. Hebrews 10:17-18 ISV
What a great promise! Jesus took ALL SIN as the final offering and sacrifice for sin on the cross. There is no more punishment for sin. You don’t have to beat yourself up. God will never again remember your sin. Penance is a voluntary self-punishment inflicted as an outward expression of repentance for having done wrong. Are you making offerings as penance for your wrongs?
Because God will never remember your sins there is now no sin offering.
Can you wrap your head around this? God does not count your sin against you. It is like Jesus paid off your mortgage debt. It has been paid in full – “Satisfaction of Mortgage Paid.” There are no more payments due on your mortgage. Jesus’ death paid for all past, current and future sin on the cross. You did not have to perform, earn or make a sacrifice because God’s love for you gave the pure and holy sacrifice of HIS SON Jesus to atone for all your sin.
This is why the Gospel Message is called “Good News.”
Now where there is forgiveness of debts and complete remission for the punishment for these sins, there is no longer any offering for sin. Jesus’ punishment on the Cross took all the punishment. Jesus fully redeemed the world with an everlasting redemption from the consequences of sin. Jesus came to redeem us, restore us and justify us from the curse. We are no longer under the bondage of sin. We have eternal everlasting abundant life in Christ Jesus.
Jesus took the punishment for all the sin of the world on the cross. HE cried out it is FINISHED. HE received all sin and we receive HIS GIFT of RIGHTEOUSNESS and HOLINESS. The payment was/is paid in full. There is no need for additional sacrificial offerings for sin.
Stop making your mortgage payments and your offerings for your disobedient behavior! God’s perfect sacrifice of love has set you free. Receive HIS LOVE and GIFT of RIGHTEOUSNESS. You have been washed clean by the Blood of Jesus on the Cross.
It is not about your behavior. It is about what God did through Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross. It is your choice to receive or reject the Gift of Righteousness and Salvation.
Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. Romans 4:8 KJV
