Kingdom Living is having the Mind of Christ

Kingdom Living is having the Mind of Christ

You have the mind of Christ. Say it! “I have the mind of Christ.”

But when Jesus turned and looked at his disciples, he rebuked Peter. “Get behind me, Satan!” he said. “You do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men.” Mark 8:33

The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1 Corinthians 2:14

16 For who has known or understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart. 1 Corinthians 2:16 AMPC

This is the footnote to 1 Corinthians 2:16 in the TPT

That is, we believers possess the Holy Spirit, who reveals the thoughts and purposes of Christ. The revelation of the kingdom of God that Jesus preached was not understood by the intellect of men but by those who welcomed his truth. Humanly speaking, no one can understand the mysteries of God without the Holy Spirit. Those who have the Holy Spirit now possess the perceptions of Christ’s mind and can implement his purposes on the earth.

The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. John 14:17

Jesus came to bring healing and restoration to the broken-hearted and sick. HE came to bring the Kingdom of God and the mind of God to the lame. Jesus came to bring the Holy Spirit to live in all man.

Jesus came to establish the Kingdom of God (Holy Spirit) through his born-again children of God. God’s Kingdom is everlasting, not temporal as is man’s. God is the creator of the heavens and earth. Man is not creator. Man is the steward over God’s creation. Man looks for a natural, physical, tangible ruler and king. God is Spirit and must be seen, heard and worshiped in the Spirit. God loved the world so much HE sent HIMSELF as a sacrifice in Jesus Christ, yet man rejected HIM.

What do you have in your mind – the things of man or the things of God?

Are you thinking like God or like man?

You have the mind of Christ living in you now through the Holy Spirit.
