Kingdom Living is enough

I have enough! I am enough!

I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:12-13

Do you know anyone who has enough money?

The answer almost always is that we want a little more. We want to be promoted. We want a pay increase. We want a better car. We want to buy a bigger house. We want to win the lottery. We want, we want, we want more and more!

If you lived your life with the thought that you have enough, would this change your perspective? Absolutely it would change your life! The world, flesh and devil want you to be discontent. They want you to lust after other things and stuff more than God.

If you have Christ, you can do everything through HIM who gives you strength. Do you have Christ? Does he own you? Have the title and deed been transferred? Have the adoption papers been signed such that you are a Child of God? Evidence of the title change is a transformed life. If the adoption, title and ownership transfer have taken place, then you HAVE.

Jesus said, “for everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.”

Christ is enough. You are enough in Christ. You are made complete in Christ. The transformation will take place over time as you learn to obey HIM. As you are tested your faith grows. You will have more. The testing of your faith will produce perseverance. Perseverance will produce character which will produce hope.

Do you have? Do you want more of Christ?  In Jeremiah we read, “these are the plans that I have for you,” declares the Lord. “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. You seek HIM you will find HIM, when you seek HIM with all of you heart.”

You have enough! You are enough!
