Kingdom Living is Asking HIM

Kingdom Living is Asking HIM

When you use the remote control to turn on the television, what do you expect? You expect the TV to come on. When you put the key in the ignition of your car and turn the key, what do you expect? You expect the car to start.

What would it be like if your boss at work came to you and said, “ask me anything and I will give it to you”? How would that make you feel? God is telling you HIS mysteries are available to you, HIS children. HE wants you to ask, seek and look for them with all of your heart.

Here are some promises which God has given you in HIS Word about approaching HIM in prayer.

This is what the LORD says, he who made the earth, the LORD who formed it and established it—the LORD is his name: Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know. Jeremiah 33:3

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.”

Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! Matthew 7: 7-11

Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete. John 16:24

I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. 1 John 5:13-15

Ask to receive everything that the Lord wants to give you.

Seek first God’s Kingdom and HIS righteousness today. Seek HIM with all of your   heart. Ask HIM for the desires of your heart like a child asks a parent. Expose the deepest hurts, pains, longings and regrets. Cry out to HIM like you would your parents. Ask HIM for healing. Ask HIM for restoration. Ask HIM for wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Ask HIM for the Peace which passes all understanding. Ask HIM for favor. Ask HIM for protection and guidance. Ask HIM for provision. Ask HIM for strength. Ask HIM for power. Ask HIM for discernment. Ask HIM to protect you from evil. Ask HIM to forgive you of your sin. Ask HIM to fill you with HIS HOLY SPIRIT. Receive HIS love.

Ask HIM______________. Ask HIM______________. Ask HIM___________.  Your Father wants you to ask HIM.
