Kingdom Living is Agape Love
Kingdom Living is Agape Love
God is “Agape.” Agape is the Greek word for God’s love. Agape is the highest form of love which is God’s unconditional, sacrificial Divine love.
God is love.
8 He who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love. 1 John 4:8 AMP
What is love?
This is real love–not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. 1 John 4:10 NLT
So what is the “Spirit of Truth” about love? We do not earn God’s love. HIS love is not something you can buy or is based upon your performance. HIS love is a gift to HIS children. HIS love is something which is received. The “Spirit of Truth” is understanding God’s love for you and all mankind, not you trying to gain God’s love. HE has demonstrated His love already.
How did God demonstrate HIS love for us?
Christ died for us while we were still sinners. This demonstrates God’s love for us. Romans 5:8 GWT
God’s purpose for HIS love is to restore you into HIS image, redeem you, heal you, bless you, comfort you, secure you, protect you, cleanse you of all sin and give you HIS gift of salvation and righteousness. Jesus came to give you “Life.” This life is not like what the world gives, which is temporal, but life in Christ.
There is no shame, guilt, sin, wrong or unjust act which God’s love did not cover on the cross. HE took everything on the cross to redeem you. You are forgiven and can enter into God’s presence based upon what Christ did, not based upon your performance.
Receive and know that God loved you and loves you. God loved you (past tense) so that you can know HE loves you now (present tense).
God is no longer judging you. God loved you so much that all judgment was taken on the cross by Jesus for you and all mankind. Jesus received all your judgment. You are pardoned, set free with no condemnation or judgment.
God loves you.
