Declared Righteous – Day 39 of the Fraud Committed by Satan on Man

Merriam-Webster defines fraud as follows: intentional perversion of truth in order to induce another to part with something of value or to surrender a legal right.

Adam surrendered man’s legal rights and became indebted to Satan in the Garden of Eden.

Why did God raise Jesus from the dead?

• Who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised up because of our being declared righteous. Romans 4:25 YLT

God is Judge in the Heavenly Courts, raised Jesus from the dead to pronounce and declare you righteous. It was a declaration of righteousness being pronounced to mankind. Here is the declaration:

“YOU HAVE BEEN MADE RIGHTEOUS THROUGH THE DEATH, BURIAL AND RESURRECTTION OF JESUS CHRIST.”

The New International Version uses the word Justification instead of declared righteous.

So what is justification?

Justification in Greek is “dikaiósis” which in the Strong’s Concordance means the act of pronouncing righteous or acquittal. In Thayer’s Lexicon, “dikaiosis” means the act of God declaring men free from guilt and acceptable to him; adjudging to be righteous.

You have been judicially approved and declared by God as righteous, not because of anything you have done but because of what God “did” in and through Jesus Christ on the cross. The resurrection is the judicial declaration that payment was made and paid in full for mankind’s sin on the cross.

When a mortgage is paid off, there is a declaration of payment called a “Satisfaction of Mortgage.” This legal document is a declaration to the public that this debt has been paid.

The Divine exchange of God’s love was finished and nailed to the cross. Jesus took all your sins past, present and future and exchanged and imputed HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS to you.

Jesus’ resurrection is the legal and public “declaration of righteousness” saying the “Divine exchange” is complete. Jesus’ resurrection is the “Satisfaction of the sin debt” being paid and that you have been “Justified” – declared and judged righteous by God.

This should make you want to stand and do the wave!

You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. The resurrection is your proof of payment through the judicial pronouncement and declaration of your righteousness in Christ Jesus.

Jesus Christ legally and judicially restored you back to your legal family as a Child of God in the image and likeness of God. You have all the legal rights and privileges as a son or daughter of God. You are BLESSED. You have life abundantly. You have the mind of Christ and the Wisdom of God living in you.
