Fraud – “Fraud” Day 35
Promised Land – Day 35 of the Fraud Committed by Satan on Man
Merriam-Webster defines fraud as follows: intentional perversion of truth in order to induce another to part with something of value or to surrender a legal right.
Adam surrendered man’s legal right of Authority and Destiny to Satan in the Garden of Eden.
Twelve spies entered into the Promised Land, yet only two came back with a good report and the other ten gave a false, evil and bad report. An entire generation of approximately 3 million Israelites died in the desert because they listened to the false report. One view is we can take the land; the other view, was filled with fear. We can’t take the land we look like grasshoppers.
You are not a grasshopper. You are a child of God.
30 Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, “We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.”
31 But the men who had gone up with him said, “We can’t attack those people; they are stronger than we are.”
32 And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. They said, “The land we explored devours those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size.
33 We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” Numbers 13:30-35 NIV
Here is how Caleb viewed God and the situation:
8 If the LORD is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us.
9 Only do not rebel against the LORD. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will swallow them up. Their protection is gone, but the LORD is with us. Do not be afraid of them. Numbers 14:8-9 NIV
Caleb walked in the confidence of HIS Father God. You are a dearly beloved child of God, there is no battle or fight that is too large for God. God has promised that HE will never leave you or forsake you.
26 Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah:
27 “I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?” Jeremiah 32:26-27 NIV
15 For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)! Father! – Romans 8:15 AMPC
You are not a grasshopper you are a child of God. Know that your father loves you so much HE sent HIS ONLY Son to die for all of the world so you do not have to live in fear.
You can trust the promises of God.
You are more than a conqueror. Greater is HE who is in you than any problem or circumstance you are currently facing.
Jesus Christ legally and judicially restored you back to your legal family as a Child of God in the image and likeness of God. You have all the legal rights and privileges as a son or daughter of God. You are BLESSED. You have life abundantly. You have the mind of Christ and the Wisdom of God living in you.
