Confession is Agreement with God’s verdict.
God has already rendered his verdict. The verdict is not guilty.
We’re justified, accepted, and redeemed. And that’s signed by the blood of Jesus.
And the believer agrees with Heaven’s verdict.
I agree with God’s declaration. I’m not guilty. I am justified. I am accepted. I am redeemed.
Confession.
Confession says, I agree with God’s declaration. God says Jesus has paid the penalty.
It is finished. Jesus paid the penalty.
God rendered his verdict. Heaven’s verdict is declared. The believer agrees in faith.
Confession agrees out loud. And the Biblical truth is in Romans 10:9-10 – yhat if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
For with your heart you believe – and look at this – and are justified.
It’s with your mouth with your mouth you confess and are saved.
