Justice v Injustice
We’re going to be talking about justice versus injustice.
But let’s look at this – the fundamental lie behind injustice.
The fundamental lie behind God, and look at this, is God is not my sufficient source, so I must secure what I need for myself.
I must secure what I need for myself even at the expense of someone else. So this is the lie.
This fallen way of thinking produces – what does it produce? – greed, manipulation, favoritism, exploitation, false accusations, oppression, domination, retaliation, broken relationships, injustice, and ultimately death.
Taking leads to brokenness and death. And again, relationships, trust, that’s what happens.
But let’s look at the Truth.
The Truth sets us free.
Those who receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the one Jesus Christ.
God is my sufficient Source.
I receive what I need from Him.
I receive – see, this is so key – I receive grace.
I receive – we’re not working for this – I receive the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
I receive life in Christ.
I walk in love.
I build up others.
I bring justice in life because God is our our source.
You don’t have to destroy another person to establish yourself.
So self-centered thinking leads to injustice.
Let me just say that again. Self-centered thinking leads to injustice.
Choose receiving, not taking.
Reign in life through Jesus Christ.
Christ-centered thinking leads to life.
Amen and Amen.
