The River of Living Water is the Holy Spirit
The River of Living Water.
The River is the Holy Spirit.
Jesus said out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.
Living Water represents the Holy Spirit and the divine life he communicates more than occasional experiences.
It is the indwelling presence of God.
The Spirit comes to live within God’s people. And John explains, but this, is still concerning the spirit.
Jesus promised “and I will pray to the father and He will give you another Helper – the Holy Spirit – and He may abide with you forever – the Spirit of Truth – for He dwells within you.
He will be in you. He will be in you – a transition – is God’s Covenant.
Look at this transition from the old covenant where God came upon His people whereas now in the new covenant, God dwells within and His people.
The Spirit of Truth – for He dwells with you and will be in you.
So He lives in you who flows through you.
He produces life through you.
He reaches others through you.
