The Same Spirit
This is a great scripture, and many times we’ve read this, but but we may not have really understood what this scripture’s all about. Let’s look at this.
This is Romans 8:11. Look at this. “And if the same Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living” where? In you and I, in us. “He who raised Christ from the dead” will also do what? “Give life to our your mortal bodies because of his spirit who lives in you.”
So, the mortal becomes immortal. We have life in our bodies.
And the Spirit breathing with that same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead.
So, Jesus died, so what?
So, you could live, so we could live.
Jesus rose, so you could have life.
The Spirit dwells in you, so Christ could live through you.
Resurrection life is at work in your mortal body bringing and working out.
The same spirit who raised Jesus from the dead is living in us.
He will also give life to our mortal bodies because of His Spirit who lives in you.
Death is not the final word.
Resurrection life is now a life in you.
Hope for the future, power for today.
