God Raised Us Up with Christ and Seated Us
We need to learn about the seated life.
And in Ephesians 2:6, “And God raised us up” – raised us up with Christ and seated us where? With him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus!
You’re not trying to get to heaven in Christ. You are already there!
This is your position, your identity, and your inheritance. We’re seated with Him right now.
We’re raised up with Him because of Jesus’s resurrection.
You were raised from spiritual death to new life. We’re seated. We’re seated! He’s seated with us.
Not standing, not struggling. Seated.
You have position, authority, and acceptance with him.
You are in union with Christ, not alone.
His life is your life now in heavenly places.
Your citizenship is in heaven.
You live from a higher realm, not just in this world.
In Colossians 2:12, buried with Him in baptism in which you were also raised with Him through faith in working of God.
In Colossians 3:1, set your mind on things above where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
In John 15:4, abide in Him and in you as the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine.
In Philippians 3:20, for our citizenship is in Heaven for which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the lord Jesus Christ.
So your reality in Christ, is you are alive. You’re seated. You’re loved. You are secure. You’re heavenly minded and live for you now.
We’re dead in sin. We’re raised with Christ. We’re seated in glory. We’re living in victory.
It’s not an effort. It is grace.
This is your new life in Christ. We’re the seated life.
