Fraud Against the Tree of Life
We’re going to be introducing the fraud committed against the tree of life and the lies about the tree of life.
We look at the tree of life. What we have is the root system which is Love. Love is patient. It’s Kind. It’s Truthful Trust. It protects. It’s hope. It perseveres. And really the Tree is Christ. Christ in us. The hope of glory.
And then out of that. we have the fruit of the spirit which is love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control.
And so we see here, what are some of the lies?
Well, one of the first lies is God removed the tree of life forever. Look at that. God removed the tree of life forever. Forever!
The second lie, is that the Tree of Life is a literal future object.
The third lie is death is natural and God ordained.
Another lie, the fourth lie, the tree of knowledge of good and evil is necessary for us to mature.
And the fifth lie is access is still guarded to the tree of life.
And the sixth lie, the Tree of Life is only for heaven.
And what we find here is the Tree of Life versus the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. And what we have is two operating systems.
We have two operating systems. Either we’re going to operate from the Tree of Life or the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
If we operate from the Tree of Life, what we have is divine life – Grace and Union. Our identity is in Christ. We’re Spirit-led. We rest and trust. We have an eternal mindset. We move from life to peace to fruitfulness.
Now, in the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, it’s self-effort. It’s law and judgment. Our identity is in shame, fear driven, striving and anxiety, scarcity mindset and, when, we move from knowledge, we struggle and move into death versus life.
Romans 8 fulfills so much of the Tree of Life, the Law of the Spirit of Life. There is therefore no condemnation.
We have the two laws, the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has set us free from the law of sin and death. We have the spirit gives life to the body and creation set free from decay – so it’s really important that we understand the Tree of Life is Jesus Christ living in us now.
