Right to be a Child of God – Day 25 of the Fraud Committed by Satan on Man
Merriam-Webster defines fraud as follows: intentional perversion of truth in order to induce another to part with something of value or to surrender a legal right.
Adam surrender man’s legal right to be a child of God to Satan in the Garden of Eden.
12 But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the right [the authority, the privilege] to become children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name. — John 1:12 AMP
The Greek word for “right” is exousia which means power to act, authority. It comes from the root word of exesti which means it is permitted, lawful.
So what is your legal, lawful right?
Yes, you have the authority and legal right to become children of God!
Recognize that the right is not earned, it is given!
How do you exercise this right to become a child of God? Read John 1:12 again to get the answer.
12 But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the right [the authority, the privilege] to become children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name— John 1:12 AMP
So you exercise your right by the following:
- Receiving
- Welcoming
- Believing
- Adhering
- Trusting
- Relying
The name of Jesus is above every name. You are exercising your right to receive your pardon from the curse, judgment, condemnation, sickness, disease, shame, sin and guilt. Your payment was/is made in the name of Jesus through HIS BLOOD on the Cross.
You can receive your “Right and Privileges” in Jesus’ Name by trusting in the finished, complete work of God’s amazing love on the Cross to redeem mankind from the fall. God reconciled mankind to be in RIGHTEOUS standing before God just as if you/we had never sinned.
Which “right” are you receiving and which is greater? Your “right” in Jesus’ name given to you to become a child of God or your earthly human rights? Are you fighting for your rights here on earth or are you defending the NAME of JESUS who has given you the “Right” through HIS Blood to be a child of God?
Receive your “right” in Jesus’ name.
Jesus Christ legally and judicially restored you back to your legal family as a Child of God in the image and likeness of God. You have all the legal rights and privileges as a son or daughter of God. You are BLESSED. You have life abundantly. You have the mind of Christ and the Wisdom of God living in you.
