Jesus first public sermon after being filled with the Holy Spirit and after being tempted in the desert by Satan was teaching about the Kingdom of God.

 

 

¹⁷ From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

 

 

Begin looking at the Word of God as a King bringing His message about HIS KINGDOM to HIS children.

What nullifies the Authority of the Word of God?

 

 

⁶ He answered and said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written:

 

⁷ And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’

 

¹³making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down.  And many such things you do.”

Jesus rebuked the people to change their thinking about religion, doctrine and tradition and understand and know the KING and the KINGDOM.

So, why do people perish?

So, why are they destroyed?

My people are being destroyed

because they don’t know me.

Since you priests refuse to know me,

I refuse to recognize you as my priests.

Since you have forgotten the laws of your God,

I will forget to bless your children.

People perish and are destroyed based upon their ignorance.

 

People perish and are destroyed for not KNOWING and having the knowledge of God.

 

The measure of your destruction will be based upon the level of your ignorance and knowledge which you possess about the King and the Kingdom of God.

 

·       Jesus came to preach the Kingdom of God is here now. Seek first the KINGDOM of GOD and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS. Not seek first the religious traditions and doctrines created by man.

 

·       Jesus came to earth to restore and reestablish HIS KINGDOM.

 

·       Jesus came to destroy the works of Satan and bring people out of ignorance (darkness) into HIS KINGDOM of LIGHT which is the KNOWLEDGE of HIM.

 

·       Jesus came to bring HEAVEN to earth through HIS children, HIS heirs, HIS Sons and Daughters, HIS kings and queens.

 

·       Jesus came to empower man to dominate the earth with God’s Glory through the Holy Spirit living in man.

 

·       Jesus came to bring HIS AGAPE LOVE and SHALOM PEACE to ALL mankind.

 

The KINGDOM of GOD lives in you now through the Holy Spirit. You are made in the image and likeness of God. You are eternal. You are a spirit being that never dies in Christ Jesus.
